On March 1st, the Advisory Planning Commission will be looking at an up and comming development in the downtown core. Tesco Inc is planning a 5 story, 52 unit mixed use building (residential and commerical) on St. Paul st. It will be interesting to see if the same old people speak out against this development also. I am glad to see that area being developed. It will greatly improve that area of St. Paul St. The APC will also be looking at a 50 unit senior townhouse development on gordon dr and a 43 unit apartment development on Bernard and Graham St.

A new condominium project is planned for downtown kelowna. ;D The five storey building would be constructed on properties formerly occupied by single family homes. This project is consistent with the city's aim of encouraging higher density development downtown to boost the area's population and make it more vibrant. St. Paul Place, proposed for the southeast corner of St. Paul st and Cawston Avenue, consists of 52 condos on four floors, with some ground floor commercial space.
